Direct Vision PSS AI Camera Kit

From October 2024 only HGVs over 12 tonnes rated three stars and above, or those with a PSS fitted, will be allowed on London’s streets. The changes aim to further enhance the safety standards of HGVs and reduce the risk of serious collisions and fatalities on London’s streets.

The Guardian DVS progressive safe system (PSS) camera option conveniently provides the full range of electrical and signage requirements to be compliant with the legislation as of October 2024.

All kit parts can be ordered individually if required.

Please note – A calibration kit (CAL2) is required for initial setup. Purchased separately

Additional options – For a professional install you can use CAN1.

This interface is ideal for use when installing external safety equipment to vehicles which feature CAN Bus wiring. It can drastically reduce installation time and is very common with customers who have inner-city vehicles where external safety equipment is paramount.
