The BSIS radar system is manufactured to UNECE No.151 specification. It detects vulnerable road users in the vehicles blind spot and warns the driver through visual and audio cues.
Fully UNECE No.151 compliant, this blind spot information system is based on microwave technology which doesn’t detect street furniture. It warns the driver of any intended manoeuvre that may cause a collision with VRU’s in the blind spot zone conforming with TFL’s (Transport for London) progressive safe system.
